Sandia Hike / Field Trip

- Sunday, 2 May, 2004
- Cienega Springs - Armijo Canyon Loop (e side of Sandias)
- 6 miles RT
- Trip Leaders: David & Terri Wallis
- We left the Cienega Springs parking lot (saplci) about 09:20. - Conditions were about the same as the previous weekend (see ft~44r.htm). There's still a lot of water running in Cañoncito, Armijo, and Cienega Canyons.
- Fungal finds were minimal. Terri found one hypogeous specimen which we have not yet identified.
- We may do this hike again on Saturday, May 8th, possibly combining it with some short walk foraying for those more interested in foraging than hiking. This will likely be a topic of discussion at the upcoming Board/General Meeting on Monday, May 3rd.
