Meetings for 2011

• Meetings for 2011 will again occur in Albuquerque and Santa Fe. A list of meeting dates is available on mycowest.org.
• Albuquerque meetings at the NM Museum of Natural History will occur on the first Tuesday of the month, rather than the first Monday as we have done for the last few years.
• Thank You to Barbara Hays for hosting this year's upcoming Santa Fe meetings at her community Clubhouse. These meetings will be on Sunday afternoons.

We have a few of Taylor Lockwood's 2011 Calendars for sale: $5 each for NMMS members ($14.50 List). Terri Wallis will have these beautiful calendars at the March meeting. If members want to arrange purchasing copies outside of these meetings, please contact Terri Wallis.

NMMS Board Meeting

• The NMMS Board held its first meeting on February 13.
• Minutes from that meeting are available on mycowest.org .
• The Board has scheduled its next meeting for March 13.

What's the Deal with February?
~~~~~~
February meetings don't seem to work out for NMMS. The Board decided to cancel the Feb 1st meeting because of hazardous driving conditions. We cancelled the February meeting in 2008 for the same reason. In 2009 & 2010, we didn't schedule general meetings for February. NMMS did, however, have a successful and well-attended February meeting in 2007. As I recall the program had to do with groundhogs and fungi.
