NMMS Meetings

    Albuquerque

The next NMMS meeting will be this coming Tuesday, June 2, from 7-9 pm at the NM Museum of Natural History in Albuquerque. Chris Kerns, who talked at our May 5 meeting, will present again on Tuesday, this time discussing Mushroom Microscopy.

    Santa Fe

June 20 - The Railyard Stewards have invited us to present a talk at the Railyard Park in Santa Fe. NMMS member Chris Kerns will repeat the mushroom cultivation talk which he presented at our May 5 Albuquerque meeting. We expect this gathering to go from 10am to noon.

At present there are no NMMS meetings or activities scheduled for July, so after the two meetings detailed above, the next one will occur in Albuquerque on August 4.

Field Trips
    Please remember that we have a Field Trip schedule available on the NMMS Members' Forum (http://NewMexicoMyco.org). I posted dates and description pages, although some of the outings are tentative. Remember that the Forum provides a place for any NMMS member to suggest or organize a field trip. To view or add to the field trip list, log in to the Forum and click on "Field Trips" on the top menu.
    Participation on NMMS field trips is a benefit of NMMS membership and thus limited to NMMS members.

NMMS Annual Foray
    The Foray Committee met yesterday evening to iron out some details of this year's Foray, which we will hold at Sipapu Ski Resort from 20-23 August. Our goal is to have a Registration Form ready for next Tuesday's meeting.
    I will also email all available Foray information next week.
